If you have to get out of the car on the road or hard shoulder, you’ve got to wear a hi-visibility jacket, and you must display warning triangles if you have broken down to warn other road users. You cannot park in areas where the curb is painted yellow, so be vigilant in urban areas and look out for the blue parking areas.
